    PROGRAM OVERVIEW

    Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Strategic and Corporate Communication offers students a unique combination of strategic approaches in communication, management, healthcare and digital technologies. The programme gives an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of media and communication, and teaches students how to manage communications strategically.

    Strategic and Corporate Communication crafts the voice, image and reputation of the organisation. It applies strategic communication techniques in disseminating messages and campaigns on various platforms designed to persuade and inform stakeholders. Discover the latest media technology in the contemporary and stimulating field of communication particularly in the digital world and social media.

    This three year degree program will equip graduates with skill sets, knowledge and competence to meet job market expectations. Graduates will be exposed to actual industry work-based-environments specifically in understanding corporate cultures and practices of the organisation. Graduates will have the opportunity to practice corporate internship, apprenticeship and have job opportunities in more than 20 KPJ Specialist Hospitals throughout Malaysia

    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    1. Pass STPM with a minimum of Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects & SPM with Credit in English; Or
      Pass STPM or equivalent with a minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects and credit English in SPM or equivalent; OR
    2. Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of jayyid & SPM with Credit in English; or
      Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of jayyid & Credit English in SPM or equivalent; OR
    3. Diploma with a minimum of CGPA 2.00 & SPM with credit in English; or
      Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and Credit English in SPM or equivalent; OR
    4. Diploma in Media and Communication; or
      Diploma media and communication or equivalent; OR
    5. Matriculation/ Foundation with a minimum of CGPA 2.00
      Matriculation/ Foundation or equivalent with a minimum of CGPA 2.00 and Credit English in SPM or equivalent;
    6. Other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia; AND
    7. Pass Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with a Band 3.

    Note: Credit terms in English at the SPM level for candidate 1, 2, 3 and 5 may be excluded if the qualifications contain English subject and an achievement is equivalent / more than the credit needs of these subjects at the SPM level.
